To promote, monitor and coordinate teachers for research activities, the college has constituted a Research Assessment Committee. The committee takes periodic review of the research activities undertaken by various faculties and makes necessary suggestions for the betterment.

Three faculties of the college are working in the capacity of research supervisor for supervision of research for Ph. D.

Two students have been awarded Ph. D. degree, one student has been awarded M.Phil degree. Under their supervision, 11 students have been registered for doctoral research and are carrying out the research.
The college has established a research centre i.e. Research and Higher Learning in Political Science in the year 2014-2015 and the center guides the researchers for Ph. D. and M. Phil degrees in Political Science in Gondwana University. At present, 21 students are carrying out their doctoral research through this center.
Faculty Research Status:
In faculty, 09 (Nine) members completed their Ph. D., 11 (Eleven) members of various departments are pursuing their doctoral research and 04 (four) out of 12 have submitted thesis in the concerned universities.
Dr. Arun Chilke has been working as a member of Editorial Board in six reputed international journals.
