The department of Mathematics is established in 1992 with the major objective of promoting science graduate studies for the students of rural area. Both the faculty carrying out research work in the field of thermoelasticity.The department has successfully completed two minor research projects funded by university grant commission, New Delhi. Dr. C.M. Bhongade, Assistant professor was the principal investigator, grant received Rs. 95,000/. Dr. V.K. Dange, Assistant professor was the principal investigator, grant received Rs. 30,000/. Dr. V.K. Dange has recognized as a supervisor for Ph.D. guidance. It is a matter of pride that the department has organized National conference on Recent Trends in Mathematics NCRTM-2019.
